The Westerly CC vs Willesden CC quiz night went well last night. A mixed team of the Woodmans and the Westerly took home the coveted first first prize. Willesden teams showed performance in depth by filling some of the minor placings.
Rocco and Liz set a very good and varied set of questions. Hardest question of the evening was “what is a Syzygy?”. Well done, you guesed right, it’s a straight line configuration of 3 celestial bodies.
The evening rounded off with the customary raffle and a late-night supper. Thank you to our friends at the Westerly for hosting the evening and to Jim and Wendy Mears to setting up the event.
