On Friday Roger Woodford rode Welwyn Track League. He came second in the 10 lap scratch being piped to the line by John McClelland. In the 10 mile event a 5 riders broke away from the bunch including Roger and proceeded to lap the bunch twice! In the final sprint for the line he didn’t quite have the legs and came in fourth. He has now moved up to 6th overall in the league. Next weekend Roger is riding the 2 day International track meeting in Halesowen.
