We are delighted to announce that we will getting together in our Centenary year for a charity event combining a social ride and lunch on Sunday 12th July 2026. It’s a chance for all club members and friends to meet up for an easy morning bike ride followed by lunch at the Hazlemere Golf Club. We can raise a little money for the Thames Hospice in Maidenhead too.
The proposed schedule for Sunday 12th July 2026 is:
08.00 to 09.00
Meet at Hazlemere Golf Club in Penn Rd, Hazlemere, High Wycombe HP15 7LR.
Free parking and the kitchen is open for tea/coffee and breakfast. Changing rooms available. There is a good choice on the menu from the kitchen at reasonable prices for breakfast, lunch and drinks.
09.00 to 09.30

Coffee at the Hospice Café

Arrive back at the Golf Club. Changing rooms and showers available

Kitchen open for lunch and bar open for drinks
Non-riding members and friends are very welcome to the post ride lunch and for the catch
up. The suggested route is 50km, dropping into Beaconsfield along the Thames to Maidenhead and Bray stopping for coffee at the Thames Hospice café, just round the corner from Bray Marina.

If you are tax payer, don’t forget to click on the Gift Aid tab. Please note Just Giving take a ‘Tip’ but you can use the “custom amount” tab to get this down to £1.50.
There’s no entry fee for the ride but if you are able to make a donation to the charity that would be great. Even better if you can send the link around to all your friends to get them to donate any amount to sponsor you!
