600km Last Gasp Audax

38 brave souls completed Willesden CC’s 600km Last Gasp. Eight riders completed the Willesden 100th Birthday SR, by riding a Willesden 200km, 300, 400 and 600 events, with three more eligible if  they finish the Anfractious 200 in September. It was hard work with temperatures nudging 30C, but with riders taking things a bit slower than normal most starters finished and nobody was out of time.

The pictures are taken en-route by the riders, for which many thanks. Starting from Kings Cross, the route crosses the Cotswold to Ironbridge, goes north of Birmingham to the edge of the Fens and then back to finish at a pub in St Pancras Station where you can admire the great Victorian edifice with a pint or two.
