Jayne Paine is competing at the UK National Track Championships in Manchester this week. Yesterday she took part in the Points race with some impressive riders for company. Unfortunately she dropped out after 40 laps, feeling some what underpowered. Still all the more energy for her other races today, I say!

**Update** – 3k Women’s Individual Pursuit
In the middle of this afternoon sent this Jayne SMS –
“Did a 4.02 (A PB – but I was hoping for a sub 4 min). Came 9th out of 14 I think.
Wendy Houvenaghel did a 3:31.
I narrowly missed out on a ride in the finals – thank God!
