Track

The club has a great track pedigree; we have our very own Jayne Paine who has been winning medals on a regional, national, European and world level.

Willesden riders generally race at Welwyn velodrome. There is a track league there every Friday through the summer. We also compete at Reading who have a Monday track league and at Herne Hill velodrome. In the winter a league is held at the indoor velodrome at Stratford.

If you are new to track racing we recommend that you attend some Welwyn Wheelers training sessions which are generally on Saturday mornings and Monday evenings (check at http://welwynwheelers.org.uk/).  Depending on where you live you may prefer to go to Herne Hill.  See getting started at Herne Hill.
