Ray Kelly is urging you all to strongly consider forming WCC teams for the 2014 Ride London 100, which will take place over 9-10th August.
According to the information Ray has received there will be space for 400 teams via British Cycling, each consisting of 5 riders. The organisers are expecting demand for places to be high and there may be a ballot to select the successful teams. Further details will be posted on the British Cycling website on 3rd March, but in the meantime it would be a good idea to start forming yourselves into teams in readiness for when entries open.
Ride London teams
Last year my neighbour rode the event as part of a four-up ladies team for Addiscombe CC. They were all given different start times and therefore, couldn’t ride as a team. The individual times were added up at the finish to make up an overall finish time.
You have been warned!
