Tony Willard has sent through some further details for the Hampshire (+Berkshire+Wiltshire) ride on Saturday 26 July.
The ride will start at 09:00 from Oakley Schools, Oakley Lane, RG23 7JZ. The outward route will take in Ramsdell, Baughurst, Brimpton, Crookham, Burghclere, Woolton Hill, Ball Hill, Kintbury and Hungerford. Cafe stop at the Tutti Pole, next to the Kennet and Avon canal.
After refreshments the return route will include Shalbourne, Oxenwood, Vernham Deane, Upton, Hurstbourne Tarrant, and Overton, finishing at Oakley for a caffeine top-up at Jolly Ollys coffee shop. Total distance 60 miles, pace around 15 mph.
There is also expected to be the option for a shorter ride for any that want it, with the Oakley Pedalers Foundation Group. This will be a 40 mile round trip at a relaxed pace, also finishing at Jolly Ollys.
