The ladies have the headlines this week.
Jayne Paine took the gold medal in the National Women’s Road Race over 4 laps of a 15 mile circuit at Quainton on Sunday (After having been to a wedding and getting only 3hours sleep!)
Gill Reynolds gained the National Vets Age Record over 15 miles when she rode in the CC Breckland 15 mile event recording 38.05 which is also a new club record. In the Shaftesbury 25 her time of 1.03.39 gave her the London Vets Ladies Age record.
Other events ridden this week include the Cronos 10 in which Pete Cookson recorded 23.37,Gill 25.28,London Vets 10 – Pete 24.58,Gill 26.55 and Brian Moon 30.02. On Tuesday evening she rode in the Bicester 10 mile circuit of Weston on the Green Airport and her time of 27.24 placed her as the 2nd fastest lady vet.

Alex Pierce rode at Welwyn on Friday evening finishing 2nd in the 10 lap A scratch race and 4th in the elimination race.
