A brilliant short film by French director Louis Malle in this moving tribute to the suffering of the competitors in the Tour de France.

Notebook from the Tour de France 7.20pm
A fan’s view behind the Tour de France using just one small mini DV camcorder, the type you can buy in many high street camera shops.

Hell on Wheels 8.00pm
German director Pepe Danquart, uses several crews which enables him to film the Tour from several angles, including helicopters and Tour vehicles to capture the theatre of this great race.”
